Unstoppable Leadership. Unshakable Results.

Welcome to my blog. My name is Jonathan Ettie, and I like to write about self-directed leadership and how to be organized. I am a member of Toastmasters International and I enjoy volunteering for club and district officer roles. This gives me something meaningful to do with my time outside of work, and it gives me lots of opportunities to sharpen and hone my leadership skills.

I write for leaders who are tired of hype and ready for evidence – leaders who want to feel proud of their decisions, confident in their follow-through, and grounded in their values. If you want to sharpen your focus, strengthen your discipline, and become the kind of person who keeps promises to yourself, you’re in the right place.

Start Here

To lead yourself effectively, here are some ideas to get you started.

1) Lead Yourself First
Build identity-based habits, clarity, and personal standards that don’t break under pressure.

2) Focus on What Works
Use simple frameworks (retrospectives, 30/60/90 plans, daily action plans) to turn effort into results.

3) Grow Through Service
Lead with respect and purpose – helping others rise while you rise.
